REACH stands for Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health which is one of the Centers for Disease Control’s initiatives. Under the administration of BPSOS from 2014 - 2018, this campaign encouraged small businesses to adopt a voluntary smoke-free environment in the cities of Garden Grove, Westminster, Santa Ana, Fountain Valley, and Anaheim. By increasing awareness about the benefits a smoke-free lifestyle and chronic illness management, REACH hopes to reduce chronic diseases, promote healthier lifestyles, reduce health disparities and control healthcare spending among the Vietnamese-American communities.

Boat People SOS California (BPSOS-CA), cùng phối hợp với Trung Tâm Kiểm Soát và Phòng Ngừa Dịch Bệnh (CDC), đã làm việc trên một chương trình từ năm 2014 đến năm 2018 để khuyến khích một môi trường lành mạnh không khói thuốc và giảm bớt các bệnh mãn tính trong cộng đồng người Mỹ gốc Việt trong năm thành phố trong tiểu bang California: Garden Grove, Westminster, Santa Ana, Fountain Valley, và Anaheim. Mục đích của REACH là để giảm bớt các bệnh mãn tính, khuyến khích lối sống lành mạnh, giảm bớt sự chênh lệch về sức khỏe, và giới hạn chi phí y tế trong chính phủ và cho người dân.
